As your Commissioner, I will stand up to big interest groups and big government policies such as cap and trade which will result in higher utility cost that will be passed along to Alabama citizens.

I promise to balance the interests of consumers and the utilities. I also propose looking at ways to give companies financial incentives to lower their costs and their rates.

I will take an active and cautious role in development of a competitive, market-based approach to utility regulation whenever such an approach is in the public interest to ensure Alabama ’s utility rates are among the lowest in the country.

I am the only PSC candidate State Licensed in Municipal Utilities. I believe my business experience can serve a role in Economic Development to help recruit jobs and protect existing businesses ensuring affordable utility rates.

I will also bring more transparency to the PSC, by putting live video feeds during the meetings on the internet.
